Join RUM Radio
Radio Upper Murray is always looking for people to join our team.
We have studios in Walwa, Corryong and Tumbarumba that provide a listening footprint across the Riverina, Snowy Mountains and Upper Murray regions. You can make a difference by keeping a local voice and information stream available and focused on community issues.
As a rural community, local radio is a highly valuable resource and we encourage new members, sponsors and volunteers to contribute in any capacity they can.
Ways to get involved
There are numerous ways you can contribute, and we have a variety of roles and positions available. Every age and ability is welcome because we want to be a reflection of our diverse community. Anything and everything; from behind-the-scenes administration to program presenters. Have a program idea for a time slot in our schedule? We’d love to hear about it!
Full training will be provided. Learn new skills or share the skills you have.
MEMBERSHIP
As an independent, non-commercial, community radio station, our members are crucial for keeping our station alive. We are a mission-driven, not-for-profit media outlet, run by the community, for the community.
SPONSORSHIP
Sponsorship of community radio, and in particular, Radio Upper Murray, is an excellent way to bring your business to the attention of a listening – and buying – audience for less than the cost of print and none of the stress of social media.
